Associate Adviser

The Client
Located in Melbourne's CBD, our client is an independently owned Financial Planning & Accounting firm. The Role
Reporting to the Head of Wealth, you will provide quality strategic financial plans and manage investment portfolios for a book of clients. Working closely with the wider team, you will contribute ideas for process improvements and actively work to create a respectful and successful team environment. 

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Supporting Senior Advisers in the preparation of advice and in the review of documents, including data collection and data accuracy
  • Working closely with Senior Advisers to manage clients and investment portfolios to ensure they are up to date to report accurate information
  • Working with Senior Advisers to complete regular reporting requirements for clients, keeping them informed of any portfolio movements
  • Ensuring all client data is accurately recorded and maintained in all business systems, including personal, financial, lifestyle and service delivery details (eg. Xplan)
About You
Currently, you will be working as a Paraplanner, Associate Adviser or experienced Client Services Officer within the Financial Planning industry. You will have demonstrated high values, integrity and have strong ethical behaviours. 

To be considered for this role, you need to possess the following attributes:
  • Between 3-4 years experience working in Financial Planning
  • Be compliant with all FASEA requirements
  • Deep knowledge of the financial planning process and legislative requirements
  • Knowledge and experience using Xplan (highly desirable)
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and the ability to work in teams or independently
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage own time
