Business Development Manager, Novated (OTE: $180K - $200K)

The Company    

I've partnered with an industry leading ASX-listed financial services provider that specialises in novated leasing, fleet management & employee benefits. Partnering with a list of name-brands, both locally and internationally, they have an extensive portfolio which continues to grow exponentially. 

The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and pursuing new business opportunities for their novated leasing product. Your main responsibilities will include:
  • Proactively identify and progress key opportunities to client contracting, ensuring effective pipeline management.
  • Engage businesses, promoting novated leasing benefits during client setup and handover.
  • Develop and progress a prospect pipeline aligned with company methodology and strategy.
  • Leverage CRM to track activity levels, opportunities, and pipeline management.
  • Pursue new business opportunities aligned with the team's novated leasing strategy.
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings, delivering compelling presentations to prospective clients.
  • Participate actively in tender opportunities through collaboration and written contributions.
  • Contribute to new account management implementation plans, matching customer requirements to Novated products and services.
  • Submit proposal responses aligned with the company's sales strategy.
  • Maintain competitor intelligence, staying updated on product offerings, pricing, and strategy.
  • Manage sales strategy and propose solutions for new prospects and customers.
  • Achieve customer growth, retention, and profitability targets.
  • Capture and leverage knowledge, manage operational risks, and implement project management systems and processes.
About You
  • 3+ years of experience in a B2B sales environment.
  • A solid understanding of novated leasing.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve targets and drive new business growth.
  • Proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to build, manage, and influence stakeholder relationships.
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced commercial environments.
  • In-depth comprehension of legislation and compliance requirements surrounding financial products and leasing.
