They are actively looking for an ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) Analyst join their Melbourne team. THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As an ESG Analyst you will play a key role in developing, implementing, and monitoring the company’s ESG strategies. This individual will work closely with various departments to ensure that practices align with industry standards and best practices in sustainability and social responsibility.

• Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry standards related to ESG reporting and disclosure
• Embedding reporting and compliance processes into the internal and external reporting framework and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines in ESG analysis and reporting activities.
• Collating and analysing ESG performance information including emissions activity data and related calculations supporting the businesses operations and value chain from various sources including supplier details (invoices), general ledger, procurement processes and systems.
• Supporting the Head of Sustainability to prepare ESG reports, presentations, and materials for internal and external stakeholders

THE EXPERIENCE

• Strong and significant experience in financial analysis and modelling
• Interest and understanding of ESG principles, frameworks and best practice
• Experience in ESG research, analysis or investment management preferred.
• Passion for sustainable investing and commitment to driving positive behavioural change through ESG initiatives.

This is a permanent role, however we are able to consider individuals on a contract basis or on a WHV.
