Finance Analyst
A growing and well-established property and development group is seeking a Finance Analyst to join its Melbourne-based finance team.
This role offers the opportunity to work closely with an experienced leadership team and gain exposure to group cash flow management, project finance and financial analysis across a multi-entity environment.
The position would particularly suit a first mover from a Chartered Accounting firm looking to step into a commercially focused role within a dynamic property and development business.

The Role
Working closely with senior finance leaders and the broader finance team, you will play a key role in maintaining and analysing group cash flow forecasts and supporting financial decision-making across the business.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and updating short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts
- Monitoring group bank balances and coordinating fund transfers across entities
- Analysing forecast vs actual cash flow movements
- Preparing cash flow reporting and variance analysis for senior leadership
- Supporting preparation of cash flow forecasts for financiers
- Collaborating with Project Accountants on project lifecycle cash flow modelling
- Working closely with stakeholders across the finance team and broader business to ensure forecasts remain accurate and up to date
- Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and streamline reporting
- Supporting the broader finance team with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting
About You
- 3–4+ years’ experience in accounting, audit or financial analysis
- Experience in a Chartered Accounting firm (Big 4 or Mid-Tier) is highly regarded
- CA or CPA qualified or studying
- Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
