The Role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily accounting transactions related to our locations
• Preparing and reconciling tax payments, including Income Tax, BAS, GST, FBT, PAYG, and others
• Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations for company-owned locations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Supporting system implementations and enhancements as needed
• Assisting with year-end audits and responding to external auditors' requests
• Ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards, internal controls, and company policies
• Participating in various projects, including process improvement initiatives

About you:

• CA / CPA Qualified with 3+ years of experience in a chartered or industry setting
• Proficient in IT, with solid expertise in Excel; experience with NetSuite is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and concisely
• Effective time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines

An interest in Retail / Hospitality is a plus. While prior experience in these fields is beneficial, it is not mandatory. Our client is looking for someone eager to learn and grow within our business, products, and services.
