About the role

You will be responsible for leading and mentoring the Finance Operations team in a dynamic environment. Your duties will include ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate accounting for cash receipts and payments, and account reconciliations.
Key responsibilities include:

Ensuring timely vendor payments, accurate accounting for cash receipts and payments, and account reconciliations
Providing month-end and year-end accounting support to prepare financial statements
Managing the primary transactional bank relationship, including issuance, renewal, and cancellation of corporate cards, bank guarantees, and transactional bank accounts
Supporting the wider Financial Control team with end-of-month, end-of-financial-year, and statutory reporting
Continuously reviewing Finance Operations processes to identify and implement improvements for better accuracy, timeliness, control, and governance

About you

A leader in the truest sense of the word, the successful candidate will have:

Experience leading a team through a changing environment
Extensive finance operations experience with either Financial Services or another high transaction volume environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High-level stakeholder management skills
