As part of this mission, they are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join their Investment Reporting team.
Responsibilities
- Providing fund accounting services, ensuring compliance with external reporting obligations.
- Managing unit pricing, tax provisions, and investment operations.
- Maintaining accurate and reliable general ledger records, including month-end/year-end processes.
- Ensuring correct valuation and reconciliation of unlisted assets and custodian records.
- Producing accurate and timely financial reporting for the Board and various committees.
- Overseeing compliance with statutory reporting obligations for the Fund and Special Purpose Vehicles.
- Coordinating with external bodies such as auditors, third-party providers, and the Fund’s custodian.
- Designing and operating effective internal controls over reporting and reconciliation processes.
- Identifying and implementing process improvement opportunities.
About the Ideal Candidate
- CA or CPA qualification (essential).
- Experience in Superannuation, Fund Management, or Custodian services.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, unit pricing, control, and reconciliation principles.
- Experience managing outsourced provider relationships to ensure service delivery.
- Highly analytical with strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Pragmatic, detail-oriented, and capable of working to tight deadlines.
