This role require a confident AR leader who can step in, take control, and provide structure and stability from day one. Someone with a strong focus on people leadership, cash management, and process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of 8 AR Officers
• Driving collections and improving cash flow performance
• Managing sundry debtors (including universities and external organisations)
• Performing and overseeing bank reconciliations
• Supporting finance leadership with reporting and escalations
• Identifying and implementing practical process improvements
• Bringing stability and structure to a stretched team

What We’re Looking For

• Have proven experience leading an Accounts Receivable team
• Be comfortable jumping in and taking control quickly
• Communicate confidently with finance management and stakeholders
• Be able to work onsite in Ballarat 2 days per week

• Initial 3-month contract, with strong potential to go permanent
