By developing an advanced technology platform, our client has revolutionised the logistics industry in Australia, addressing inefficiencies and lack of visibility. Owned by a well-funded, overseas parent company, they are on an aggressive M&A journey creating an opportunity for a Commercial Analyst to join the existing high calibre team. This role is focused on data, interpreting with a commercial lens and supporting real time decision making.
  
Responsibilities:

• Providing in-depth commercial analysis to support operational activities and drive profitability
• Developing detailed volumetric-based financial and cost forecasts
• Producing timely and actionable management and business performance reports
• Delivering relevant and timely commercial insights to optimise the network and maximise value, focusing on both direct and indirect costs

About you:

• Relevant experience, whether in a consultancy environment as an Auditor or with relevant commercial/data experience in industry
• An appropriate level of education, degree in commerce / data related
• Intermediate Excel modelling skills including data queries and ability to manipulate large volumes of data
• System experience with planning, analytical and visualisation tools (e.g., previous experience with Power BI or similar would be advantageous)
• Inquisitive and logical thinker, an ability to apply commercial insights & strategic capabilities, identifying and mitigating risks
