About the Opportunity
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this role will see you operate as a key commercial partner to senior leaders across the retail network. You’ll use data, analysis, and business insight to guide decisions, strengthen performance, and support the group’s ongoing growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, translating financial data into actionable insights that drive profitability and efficiency
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts, providing clear analysis of trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Lead month-end performance reviews and provide meaningful commentary on variances against plan
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess new initiatives, site performance, and investment opportunities
  • Collaborate with operational teams to develop business cases and evaluate commercial outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement in planning, reporting, and analytical processes
  • Manage and mentor a small team, fostering a culture of curiosity, accountability, and development
This is a full-time permanent position offering flexibility, autonomy, and exposure to senior decision-makers across the business. Some interstate travel may be required.

About You
You’re a commercially savvy finance professional who enjoys partnering with the business to deliver meaningful impact. With 3–5 years of experience in a finance or business partnering capacity, ideally within a multi-site or retail environment, you combine strong analytical skills with a practical understanding of operations.

You will also:
  • Be confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels
  • Bring advanced Excel and data visualisation skills (Power BI highly regarded)
  • Be adaptable, proactive, and solutions-focused
  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and team development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance
  • CPA or CA qualified (or currently completing)
