Finance Transformation Manager

Our Client:

One of Australia’s largest building supplies retailers, our client operates over 70 locations nationwide, offering products directly to consumers and through partnerships with leading home builders. Headquartered in Melbourne's East, they are undertaking a comprehensive systems transformation to support significant growth, including the expansion of a new retail network aimed at doubling their current footprint over the next 5-years.

The Role:

Reporting to the CFO, you’ll collaborate with Finance, Business Transformation teams, and external partners to align finance processes with new system capabilities. Key responsibilities to include:

Lead a team of two (2) overseeing the finance systems upgrade to strengthen financial controls and reporting.
Collaborate with teams to ensure ERP/EPM changes support compliance and oversight.
Facilitate workshops to align system configurations with finance needs.
Drive ERP/EPM design for enhanced financial reporting and audit readiness.
Coordinate with partners on workflows and custom reports.
Prepare finance documentation and ensure compliance with best practices.
Conduct data validation for accurate migration.
Oversee UAT, Go-live, and post-implementation.
Train finance team on ERP/EPM functions.

About You:

CA/CPA qualified with extensive finance project management experience.
Expertise in systems implementation.
Strong understanding of financial processes, controls, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
