About the Role

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for collating, reviewing, and analysing financial information across multiple entities to ensure accurate, compliant, and timely reporting. The role spans financial reporting, tax compliance, management reporting, and inter-entity accounting, while also offering the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and strengthen internal controls. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in supporting the family office’s long-term objectives.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review workpapers, reconciliations, and annual financial statements
  • Support external audits and liaise with external accountants
  • Manage BAS, GST, PAYG, FBT, and income tax compliance requirements
  • Prepare monthly cash flow and quarterly performance reports for stakeholders
  • Oversee and reconcile inter-entity transactions across the group
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial accounting, ideally across multi-entity environments
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively across stakeholders
