Atlas Partners are working exclusively with an ASX listed business to recruit for a newly created Finance and Tax Accountant position. 

The Organisation

Our client is a technology business known for managing high-stakes projects that support Australia’s foundational infrastructure, the business provides a range of services from network design and deployment to comprehensive operations and maintenance

The Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journals to the general ledger ensuring they are accurate and supportable.
• Review month end results to identify and correct mis postings whilst understanding the drivers of variances.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations explaining life to date balances with a clear itemization ensuring they are accurate and supportable.
• Prepare and lodge monthly BAS returns and corporate PAYG instalments for the Group and joint ventures
• Assist with the preparation of income tax provisions and income tax returns
• Assist with the preparation and lodgment of FBT returns

The Experience 

• Minimum of 2 years relevant finance experience
• CPA / CA qualified or equivalent desirable
• High proficiency in the use of excel
• Medium proficiency in the use of Microsoft office products.
