About the Role
This is a pivotal role for an experienced and commercially astute Financial Controller who can hit the ground running. You will oversee all aspects of financial management, from statutory reporting and compliance to business partnering and strategic planning. You will lead a small team and ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of financial information to support decision-making across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the team to oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting processes
  • Manage all statutory, tax, and compliance obligations
  • Oversee cash flow management and forecasting
  • Partner with senior leaders to provide financial insights and recommendations
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Drive process improvements and implement best practice financial controls
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Mentor and develop finance team members
About You
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualified
  • Proven track record as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance Manager in a commercial environment
  • Strong technical accounting expertise combined with commercial acumen
  • Experience leading month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting cycles
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Immediate availability to commence in a contract role
