The Role and Duties
- Management Accounting:
- Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
- Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Financial Reporting:
- Generate comprehensive financial reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations for board meetings and executive leadership.
- Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the finance department.
- Implement best practices to streamline financial processes and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, CA
- 3+ years of experience as an Accountant, with a strong foundation in Financial Accounting
- Healthcare experience would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
