About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Reporting Manager, this key role will ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial information across the organisation. The Senior Financial Accountant will oversee critical compliance tasks, contribute to monthly and annual financial processes and support strategic improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting capabilities and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete month-end reconciliations, journal processing and cash flow analysis
  • Maintain and manage the fixed asset register, including additions, disposals and depreciation
  • Assist with preparation of annual financial statements and regulatory reporting (e.g., BAS, FBT)
  • Collaborate on finance-related improvement projects and the development of new processes
  • Ensure accounting treatments align with relevant standards and legislation
  • Prepare key financial data for internal reports and executive leadership
  • Contribute to policy development and continuous process improvements
About You
  • CA/CPA qualified or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including fixed assets and lease accounting
  • Strong proficiency with ERP's (Oracle highly regarded) 
  • High level of attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and teamwork capabilities
  • Committed to continuous learning and improving financial operations
