Senior Payroll Officer - 4 Days (Temporary Contract)

I’m currently partnering with a well-established national organisation to secure an experienced Senior Payroll Officer for a temporary assignment.

This role requires a confident, hands-on payroll professional who can step in and run payroll with minimal supervision.

This role requires a confident, hands-on payroll professional who can step in and run payroll with minimal supervision.
- End-to-end payroll processing across two entities
- 370 employees (predominantly salaried) 2 monthly payrolls + 1 fortnightly payroll
- GL extraction for finance upload
- Month-end reporting & ABS surveys
- Managing payroll queries from HR and stakeholders
- Experience using Micropay (essential)
- Senior payroll experience (this is not a junior role)
- Experience with Micropay ESS (leave, onboarding, bank detail changes, payslips)
- Confident user of Excel, SharePoint and Teams
- Comfortable working with minimal written documentation
- Ability to follow established processes (not redesign them)
- Flexible part time role - 4 days per week
- Hybrid work - 2 days required onsite in Sydney CBD
- Attractive hourly rate dependent on experience ($55-65/h+ super)
