The Opportunity

The Billing Manager is responsible for the strategic management, oversight, and continuous improvement of billing and operations across the group. This role ensures compliance with relevant legislation while optimising revenue opportunities.

The Role and Duties

• Developing, implementing, and maintaining best-practice billing procedures to maximise revenue and ensure accuracy in billing and claims processing.
• Monitoring and ensuring compliance with governing legislation
• Providing financial analysis and reporting on billing performance, identifying opportunities for process improvements and revenue growth.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the principles of quality assurance and continuous improvement
• Leading a team of three

About You

• Significant experience within a healthcare billing role is essential
• Extensive knowledge of the Medicare Benefits Schedule and the National Health Reform Act (NHRA)
• Experience in a senior/leadership position
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
