Finance Analyst | Events & Entertainment (12-Month Fixed Term Contract)

The Role
Apart of the APAC reporting team and working closely with regional and local finance heads, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:

The Role
Apart of the APAC reporting team and working closely with regional and local finance heads, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Handling and reviewing key data metrics, including variance commentary from forecasts and budgets.
- Reviewing market results to understand variances between actuals and forecasts.
- Reviewing market balance sheets for correct accounting treatments, ensuring reconciliations are accurate and controls are followed.
- Reviewing and understanding variances in monthly market forecast submissions, ensuring accurate and timely loading into system.
- Preparing key forecast deliverables and ensure all reporting deadlines are met.
- Preparing weekly and bi-weekly sales reports whilst managing the talent database to ensure it is current for the support and planning team.
- Assisting key stakeholders with accounting advice and financial systems support, liaising with APAC finance teams to present information effectively and meet deadlines.
- Undertaking other ad-hoc analysis as required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment that is constantly changing and evolving from day-to-day
- Highly refined interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels including executive level
- Able to work varying hours due to the nature of the industry and stakeholders in different time zones
- Highly refined data management skills with the ability to quickly translate and communicate to various stakeholders
- Oracle exposure a bonus but not mandatory, with advanced excel skills
- Opportunity to be made permanent following the completion of the contract
