The Company
Our client is delivering one of Australia’s most exciting energy projects—combining technical excellence with a deep commitment to energy reliability and sustainability. The team is made up of experienced professionals across energy, infrastructure, and project delivery. The organisation values collaboration, accountability, and innovation as it builds the systems that will support long-term success.
  
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll provide critical support across financial accounting, planning, and analysis functions. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing month-end journals, reconciliations, and performance reports
• Assisting in budgeting, forecasting, and board reporting
• Supporting half-year and year-end financial statements and audit preparation
• Building capital and investment models to support business cases
• Partnering with operational and commercial teams to deliver insights
• Supporting systems improvement and finance transformation initiatives

About You
You’re an up-and-coming finance professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You bring:

• 3–5 years’ experience in financial or management accounting
• Progress towards (or recent completion of) CA/CPA
• Big-4 / Mid-tier - first/second mover 
• Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement experience
• Energy, infrastructure or project-based experience (highly regarded)
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
