Owned by a well-funded, overseas parent company, they are on an aggressive M&A journey creating huge opportunity for their highly talented local Finance team. Working closely with the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for delivering accurate financial reporting and driving improvements in financial processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Ownership of general ledger maintenance and month-end accounting
• Balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support with budgeting, forecasting and cashflow reporting
• Assisting with external audits, tax compliance and statutory obligations
• Identifying opportunities to improve processes and strengthen controls
• Providing financial insights to support business decision-making
• Contributing to ad-hoc projects as the business continues to scale

The Experience

• CA/CPA qualification (or working toward)
• 2–4+ years’ experience in a similar financial accounting role, business services or audit position 
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of compliance requirements
• High attention to detail and strong analytical/problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business
• Experience working with modern accounting systems and advanced Excel capability
