About our client:
Our client is a boutique investment group with a strong focus on identifying and executing high-value opportunities in the resources sector. They are seeking an experienced Investment Manager to join their growing team and play a key role in sourcing, analysing, and managing mining investments across both public and private markets.
In this role you will:
• Conduct detailed financial modelling, valuation, and scenario analysis to evaluate potential mining investments.
• Perform deep-dive research and due diligence across commodities, companies, and geographies.
• Assess opportunities in both exploration and production-stage businesses.
• Prepare clear investment papers and recommendations for the investment committee.
• Collaborate closely with senior leadership, technical experts, and external advisors to inform strategic decisions.
• Monitor existing portfolio performance and identify areas for value creation.

About You:
• 5+ years’ experience in investment management, corporate finance, or equity research within the mining or resources sector.
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability.
• Sound understanding of commodity markets, project economics, and mining lifecycle fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Degree in Finance, Geology, Commerce, Engineering, or a related discipline (post-graduate qualifications highly regarded).
