Management Accountant | Sport / Entertainment

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will support financial performance, reporting, and process improvement across the organisation. You’ll work closely with Financial Control and Business Partnering teams to ensure accurate results, reliable data, and the delivery of timely insights that inform decision-making.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and commentary
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision-making
  • Manage key aspects of month-end and year-end close, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Drive process and systems improvements across finance and reporting tools
  • Assist with statutory reporting, audit preparation, and compliance requirements
  • Provide commercial and operational insights through data analysis
  • Collaborate across finance and operations to support continuous improvement
About You:
  • Degree qualified in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (CA or CPA qualified or working towards)
  • 3+ years’ experience in audit, management accounting, financial analysis, or business partnering
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • ERP systems experience (for example, D365, TM1, Cognos, NetSuite, or SAP)
  • Advanced Excel skills; Power BI experience an advantage
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and process-driven
  • Confident communicator who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
