This client has a rich history in Australia and employs a workforce of 1k professionals across various states. They are a NFP making a difference in peoples lives. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and upskill a small payroll team of 2
• Oversee a fortnightly payroll of 1k+ employees
• Oversee and implement process changes and improvements
• Lead projects of payroll review and compliance checks
• Utilize and leverage Tech One, Tambla, and AlayaCare, for efficient payroll management
• Ensure alignment with EBA (Enterprise Bargaining Agreement) and compliance with relevant awards, SCHADs
• Handle Single Touch Payroll (STP), tax, superannuation, etc.

About You

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Payroll with a proven track record of managing or mentoring a small team
• Experience with Tech One is an advantage but not mandatory
• Experience working in a NFP or on the SCHADs award would be ideal
• You will have a passion for and experience in managing projects 
• A team player with a can-do attitude
