Our Client:

A high-end hospitality group making a name for themselves in Melbourne's culinary scene. Well funded, the group has a growth mandate and have their eyes on a number of exciting ventures. Highly collaborative, you can expect to work closely with the heads of department in Sales, Marketing, and Operations, as well as the Executive. 

The Role:

As Company Accountant, you will be responsible for leading the reporting and analysis duties for the Group. Ably supported by an Assistant Accountant, the successful candidate will be asked to:

• Generate comprehensive monthly and weekly financial reports, including balance sheet reconciliations and various management reports
• Update and analyse budget to actual performance results
• Effectively manage and track labor costs
• Oversee and monitor inventory management processes
• Implement process automation and continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure the integrity and seamless integration of various systems, including ERP, payroll, and POS/inventory.
• Lead and manage ad hoc projects, ensuring timely completion and alignment with organisational goals.
• Prepare operational cash flows and budgets

About You:

• An experienced CA/CPA qualified accountant
• Exposure to Hospitality (ideal) or similarly fast-paced environment
• Experience driving process improvement initiatives
• Strong business partnering acumen
