An opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Business Analyst to join a purpose-led organisation undergoing a period of meaningful transformation and growth.

The organisation has recently completed an acquisition of a digital platform business, creating a unique opportunity to be involved in integration, platform development and data-driven decision making as the operating model evolves.

The opportunity

Operating at the intersection of finance, strategy, technology and operations, this role will play a critical part in strengthening analytical capability, supporting executive decision-making and shaping the next phase of a technology-enabled business model.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into clear analytical requirements
• Deliver financial, commercial and operational analysis to support strategic and investment decisions
• Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and scenario analysis to assess performance and trade-offs
• Support acquisition integration by analysing revenue drivers, cost structures, scalability and performance metrics
• Develop dashboards, reports and performance frameworks that provide timely, actionable insights
• Prepare business cases and board-level analysis, clearly articulating assumptions, risks and outcomes
• Work with technology and data teams to improve data quality, consistency and usability
• Embed data-driven thinking into day-to-day decision making across the organisation
• Continuously improve analytical tools, models and reporting as the business evolves

About you

You’re comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders, can balance technical depth with practical recommendations, and thrive in environments where things are changing. You’ll likely bring:

• Strong analytical, modelling and problem-solving capability
• Strong working knowledge of MS Dynamics 366 (Business Central) and Power BI
• Commercial acumen and the ability to link data to business outcomes
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
