The organisation is currently operating through a significant period of transformation, including a new ERP implementation across its governing network and oversight of a major capital works program. This has created a newly shaped opportunity for a capable Corporate Accountant to play a key role within the finance function.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Head of Finance, the Corporate Accountant will provide hands on financial leadership across reporting, systems and operational finance.
This is a broad role suited to a commercially minded accountant who enjoys ownership and contributing beyond transactional processing.
Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of monthly management reports and variance analysis
• Cash flow forecasting and financial scenario modelling
• Oversight of accounts payable and receivable processes
• Supporting ERP implementation and ongoing optimisation
• Monitoring capital expenditure and project cost tracking
• Strengthening procurement controls and internal financial governance
• Assisting with audit preparation and statutory compliance
• Partnering with operational leaders across the organisation

About You

We are seeking a proactive and capable finance professional who is comfortable operating in a dynamic environment.
You will bring:

• CA or CPA qualification, or working toward completion
• Approximately 4 to 7 years of accounting experience
• Experience preparing management reports and providing financial insights
• Exposure to ERP systems implementation or improvement
• Strong analytical capability and attention to detail
• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders
• Experience within education or first time movers will be viewed favourably
