Our client is a global technology company with a workforce spanning Australia, the US, Europe, and beyond, their payroll function is a critical pillar of the business.

The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Payroll Officer to join the team on an initial three-month contract with a clear path to permanent employment for the right person.

This is not a strategic or managerial role — it's a doer's role. You'll manage an outsourced payroll model via ADP Celergo, validating data, running the cycles, managing templates, and making sure no one misses a pay. 

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting to the Head of HR, you'll take ownership of multi-region payroll processing including:

• Managing fortnightly and monthly payroll cycles across Australia, US, and Europe via ADP Celergo
• Validating payroll data in ADP Celergo, preparing templates for changes, and ensuring accurate end-to-end processing
• Managing time and attendance exports/imports for specific regions 
• Validating timesheets against rosters for fortnightly pay runs
• Identifying opportunities to streamline and simplify current processes
• Ensuring payroll cutoff deadlines are consistently met

What We're Looking For

• Solid Australian payroll experience — this is non-negotiable
• Hands-on ADP experience, ideally with Celergo — highly regarded
• Exposure to global payroll is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of awards, compliance, and entitlements
• A collaborative, no-blame mindset — you pitch in and get it done
• Willingness to be in the office 2-3 days per week (flexibility offered)
