About the Role
This is a hands-on Senior Payroll Officer position sitting at the heart of a complex and fast-moving payroll function. You'll be joining at a pivotal time — Dayforce has recently gone live and there is meaningful remediation and stabilisation work underway.
You'll be responsible for end-to-end fortnightly payroll across multiple business streams, working within a highly complex EBA and award environment.

What You'll Be Doing
  • End-to-end fortnightly payroll processing for approximately 750 employees across five business streams
  • Maintaining employee records including new starters, terminations, and changes to pay and entitlements
  • Interpreting and applying multiple EBAs and modern awards including SCHADS and non-emergency patient transport
  • Calculating and processing leave, overtime, allowances and termination payments accurately and on time
  • Reconciling payroll each cycle and resolving discrepancies before sign-off
  • Supporting the ongoing stabilisation of Dayforce, including data cleanup and reconciliation of historical errors
What We're Looking For
  • Experience with Dayforce — this is essential
  • Solid EBA and modern award interpretation skills — the more complex, the better
  • A detail-oriented, calm-under-pressure approach
  • Someone who is comfortable working through ambiguity and legacy issues without losing their stride
  • A genuine interest in working for a not-for-profit organisation
