Senior Accountant
This is a genuine opportunity for a CA/CPA qualified accountant who wants more than a compliance-heavy corporate role. Our client is a high-growth renewable energy group backed by a leading global infrastructure investor. With 10+ active projects across Australia and construction activity now underway, they are expanding their finance function and need someone to take real ownership of it.
This is not a role for someone who wants to slot into an established team and follow the playbook. It's for someone who wants genuine responsibility, broad exposure and the chance to make a real contribution to a business that is growing quickly.
The role
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you'll take ownership across:

The role
Reporting to the Finance Controller, you'll take ownership across:
- Month-end close across multiple SPVs, including journal entries, depreciation, amortisation and accruals
- Establishing and maintaining fixed asset registers and CapEx allocation frameworks
- Intercompany loan reconciliations and bank reconciliations
- GST/BAS preparation, audit support and cash flow reporting
- Developing and improving financial controls and month-end processes
