Senior Procurement Specialist

The Opportunity 

This 6-month contract sits within a developing procurement function requiring immediate hands-on support. You will lead day-to-day sourcing, contract negotiation and supplier management while partnering with finance and legal. The role requires autonomy, structure and a focus on delivering practical savings in a corporate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run end-to-end sourcing activities, including small to mid-level RFPs and RFQs
  • Lead contract negotiation and coordinate contract setup with legal using standard templates
  • Manage supplier relationships and resolve commercial or performance-related issues
  • Provide procurement advice to internal stakeholders on process and contract queries
  • Navigate delegation and approval processes to ensure governance compliance
  • Partner with finance to analyse spend data and identify savings opportunities
  • Maintain accurate contract documentation across procurement systems
  • Support refinement of procurement processes within a developing function
About You
  • 4–8 years’ experience in a corporate procurement or sourcing role
  • Proven experience running small to mid-level RFPs end-to-end
  • Strong contract negotiation capability with sound commercial judgement
  • Confident managing stakeholders and resolving supplier issues
  • Self-starter who can operate independently in a developing procurement environment
