About the Role

A newly defined role, the Finance Business Partner provides timely financial and data-driven insights to support operational leaders across the organisation.
Acting as a trusted partner to the business, you will work closely with finance, senior leadership, and operational budget owners across budgeting, forecasting, KPI reporting, business cases, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Acting as the primary finance partner for allocated business units, providing timely financial and operational insights
  • Supporting annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and scenario planning processes
  • Analysing performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities
  • Developing financial models and business cases for new initiatives, investments, and operational changes
  • Preparing and maintaining management reports and KPI dashboards, ensuring data accuracy and relevance
  • Translating complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
  • Identifying opportunities to improve planning, forecasting, reporting, and system processes
  • Supporting the adoption of financial systems, tools, and automation to enhance decision-making

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:
  • CA or CPA qualification (or currently working towards)
  • Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and variance analysis
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage confidently with non-financial stakeholders
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Power Query / Power Pivot (highly regarded) and exposure to ERP/planning tools
