Financial Due Diligence Manager

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Finance Due Diligence Manager, you will lead and deliver buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, supporting clients throughout the full transaction lifecycle. You will play a key role in identifying deal risks and value drivers, while managing and developing a high-performing team.
  • Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements across M&A, divestments, and corporate transactions
  • Analyse financial statements, management accounts, forecasts, and working capital to assess quality of earnings and cash flow
  • Identify key risks, issues, and value drivers impacting transaction outcomes
  • Prepare detailed financial models and high-quality reports for clients and investors
  • Act as the primary client contact, presenting findings and supporting negotiations
  • Manage multiple engagements concurrently, ensuring timelines and budgets are met
  • Mentor and manage junior team members, reviewing work and building capability
  • Collaborate with tax, valuation, and corporate finance teams to deliver integrated solutions
THE EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related discipline
  • CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
  • 3–5 years’ experience in financial due diligence, transaction services, corporate finance
  • Strong financial analysis, modelling, and reporting capability
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commercial mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
