We are partnering with a leading FMCG business seeking a Senior Accountant who will play a critical role supporting commercial decision-making, driving financial performance, and partnering closely with leaders across the business. This role goes well beyond month-end – it is suited to someone commercially minded, analytical, and proactive in shaping financial outcomes.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will:

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and cost accounting activities
• Deliver insights through variance analysis, financial modelling and scenario planning
• Partner with commercial, supply chain and leadership stakeholders to support decision-making
• Prepare monthly and year-end reporting, consolidations and working capital reporting
• Support statutory obligations including BAS, FBT and tax compliance
• Play a key role in systems, process improvement and continuous enhancement initiatives
• Support expense management platforms and contribute to upcoming finance transformation projects

About You

You will ideally bring:

• CA/CPA qualification
• Background in professional services / audit (Big 4 or mid-tier highly regarded)
• Experience across budgeting, reporting, tax and month-end
• Strong financial modelling and Excel capability
• Confidence presenting insights and influencing stakeholders
• Curiosity, commercial thinking and ability to work independently
• Systems mindset – SAP/Concur/Dynamics experience advantageous
