About the Role

A Financial Controller is required on a temporary, part-time basis (three days per week) to support the finance function in a project-driven environment. The role offers autonomy and senior stakeholder exposure, suited to an experienced finance professional seeking a high-quality part-time contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and management reporting
• Maintain accuracy of general ledger, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow oversight across active projects
• Provide financial analysis and insights to senior stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory obligations
• Coordinate with external auditors and advisors as required
• Identify and address process or reporting issues during the assignment

About You

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
• Strong technical accounting and reporting capability
• Background in property, construction or project-based environments is advantageous but not essential 
• Comfortable operating autonomously and managing competing priorities
• Clear, confident communicator with a delivery-focused mindset
• Available to commence a temporary assignment in the near term
