THE ROLE
As the Accountant, you will support the day-to-day financial operations of the agency across both the Melbourne and Sydney entities. This is a broad, hands-on role and will suit someone looking to develop real depth and breadth in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Run end-of-month billing cycles, generating and distributing client invoices across retainer and billing
  • Prepare and post financial journals including accruals, prepayments, depreciation and payroll
  • Update and present monthly revenue forecasts and prepare forecast slides for Account Directors
  • Process inter-entity billing, and sundry client invoices
  • Manage daily bank reconciliations, term deposit reviews, and cash transfers
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations and close accounting periods in billing and finance systems
  • Review aged receivables and follow up on outstanding invoices
  • Manage state revenue tax payments, credit limit reviews, and FBT calculations
THE EXPERIENCE
  • 1–3 years of experience in an accounting, finance, or bookkeeping role agency or professional services background preferred
  • Working towards CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification
  • Solid grounding in accounts payable/receivable, billing operations, and bank reconciliation
  • Experience with general ledger journals including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
  • Working knowledge of Australian tax compliance including GST; familiarity with FBT a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage recurring monthly deadlines
